Amazon Music Unlimited is a music and radio web application created by Amazon.com, Inc. The multimedia web application offers music streaming service for various platforms. Users can listen to the latest songs that are being aired today.

Amazon’s Exclusive Music Hub

Amazon Music Unlimited is an upgrade of Amazon Music that has been operating since 2007. Amazon Music is part of the centralized Prime subscription service but Amazon Music Unlimited is separate from the main subscription service. Amazon Music users can actually upgrade to this subscription service for an additional 25 more music for their audio library. The web application can be opened on different platforms such as Apple iOS and Mac, PC, Android devices and even Amazon Echo. Users will notice that the web application lacks the free, ad-supported option. The web application has an organized and intuitive user interface with the main page having its Menu Bar very accessible. The upper toolbars are Browse, Recent, My Music and Store while the lower ones are Home, Stations, Playlist, and Recommended. There are also separate tabs dedicated for recently played music, added songs, suggested playlists and even personal playlist. The Now Playing icon can be dragged to the bottom. Users can buy songs by pressing the Alexa button where they can also find exclusive songs like a live concert or tour recordings. The web application can run even if the Internet connection is offline. It only requires manual activation. Every song that appears on this web application is dependent on what users frequently listen to. Songs are also downloadable through the Store toolbar. Users can adjust the song quality from low to medium and high. The web application’s Search function will take users both to their local streaming catalog or to the Amazon Music Store. Users can connect up to 10 devices on a single account for centralized playlists and song collections.

Amazon Music Unlimited can be considered as a competitor against Spotify. It has easy to use features while enabling multiple devices to play songs from a single account. Everything is made convenient for playing music whether at the computer or mobile device.
